Vermicelli Uppumav

Uppumav is a very common breakfast in south india. Usually its made with rava or semolina. Today a very different Uppumav recipe i am sharing with you. Its very yummy, &healthy too. For a change its a good choice. Please try & Enjoy


carrot grated 1-2
onion 1/2 minced
green beans thinly sliced few
ginger minced 1 inch
green chilly few
red whole chilly
curry leaves
oil
mustard seeds
turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
roasted vermicelli 2 cup
boiling water 3 cup
salt

Heat oil in a nonstick pan ,splutter the mustard seeds,

add red chilly, then ginger, curry leaves, green chilly, saute well,

then add onion &salt. Saute until onion translucent,

now Add green beans, then carrot & turmeric powder. Cook well,

then add vermicelli mix well ,

then add boiling water , mix then cover the pan with lid, until its done.

Stir in between. Serve hot with banana & some sugar(optional) Enjoy.
