Chicken Puttu

Its a modern version of common south indian breakfast. its usually made with rice flour & fresh shredded coconut.

i used my chicken thoran as a filling instead of plain coconut.

rice flour

salt to taste

warm water

mix rice flour &salt together , then add water little by little&mix well until you get nice moist , crumble mixture without no lumps. this is the right consistency to make soft puttu’.

layering

in a puttu maker first add a thin layer of chicken thoran then the rice mixture then again the chicken thoran mixture on top & steam this for 5-6 minutes. your puttu’ is ready to serve. (Note: you can mix chicken thoran &rice mixture and steam for few minutes if you dont have puttu’ maker. thats also taste good.)
