Chocolate Strawberry

Its very simple, but yummy ,healthy&delicious. kids will love this

Its a good idea for small kids birthday party/ as a starter/ a snack. many options with this simple recipe

Fresh strawberry washed &dry with a paper towel

Chocolate your choice(i used chocolate buttons)

Melt your chocolate in the microwave in a microwave safe bowl. 20 seconds stir , then 10 seconds stir until you get a nice smooth consistency.

(NOTE:-if you havent get smooth consistency add little bit vegetable shortening, i added little bit for my white chocolate.)

Hold the strawberry in the sepals &dip it into the melted chocolate .

Hold for 1 minutes until its get dried.

If you want decorate your strawberry ,take melted chocolate in a sandwich bag & make a small hole , then decorate as you like.

Hot Chocolate (Starbucks Style )

Unsweetened good quality cocoa powder 1tsp

milk 3/4 cup

water 2-3 tbs

sugar 1-2 tsp

salt a very small pinch

chocolate syrup (optional for decoration)

mix water &cocoa power in a microwave safe bowl,

then heat for 30-40 secs, stir well

Froth the milk using a blender or frothier(See my coffee recipe)

Then add to the cocoa mix &stir

Put it in the microwave for another 50-60 secs

Your hot chocolate ready

Serve hot & Enjoy.

Chocolate Chip Cookies

Chocolate Chip cookies

Butter 150 gms
Brown sugar 150 gms
Egg 1
Vanilla essence 1 -2 tsp
Plain flour or maida 225 gms
Soda bicarbonate 1/2 tsp
Chocolate chip 200 gms

( if you wants to make more crispy cookies use half white sugar & half brown sugar )

Put the butter and sugars into a bowl and beat until creamy. Beat in the vanilla extract and egg. Sieve the flour, and bicarbonate of soda over the mixture and mix in with a wooden spoon. Add the chocolate chips and stir well.

Line a cookie sheet with baking paper,
Use a spoon or scoop, place a small amount of mixture well apart in the baking tray, then put this tray in the fringe for 10 mts, then bake for 10 mts or until it’s done( edges turn light brown) in a 180 degree C preheated oven. Take out from the oven , allow it to cool in the tray few mts then transfer into a wire track , let it cool completely. Enjoy with your cup of tea.

Chocolate Marble Cake

CHOCOLATE MARBLE CAKE

This is very basic cake recipe, very easy to make& tasty.

In this recipe you have to make a basic batter for cake & then divide in to 2 parts

Self raising flour 180 gm( 11/2 cup)
Butter 180 gm( softened)
Sugar 180 gms
Egg 180 gms(~3 eggs)

( all the main ingredients same amount)

Vanilla essence 1 tsp
Milk 3 tbs

Beat the butter & sugar nicely , then add eggs one by one and mix well.then add vanilla essence & milk , finally add the flour , mix until just combine. ( don’t over mix once you add the flour)
Now your basic batter is ready.
Divide into 2, in one portion add 3-4 Tbs cocoa powder& mix.

Now take a greased pan , put this batter alternately. The final part take a skewer & swirl round few times.

Bake this in 180 degree c preheated oven for 40-45 mts or until it’s done. ( each oven is different, so check before you take it out from the oven). Allow to cool in a wire rack & enjoy.

The Best Chocolate Cake

Chocolate Cake

2 cups self raising flour
2 cups sugar
¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1½ teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon espresso powder
1 cup milk
½ cup vegetable oil
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup boiling water

Preheat oven to 350º F. Prepare two 9-inch cake pans by spraying with baking spray or buttering and lightly flouring.

Add flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda,and espresso powder to a large bowl or the bowl of a stand mixer. Whisk through to combine or, using your paddle attachment, stir through flour mixture until combined well.
Add milk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla to flour mixture and mix together on medium speed until well combined. Reduce speed and carefully add boiling water to the cake batter. Beat on high speed for about 1 minute to add air to the batter.
Distribute cake batter evenly between the two prepared cake pans. Bake for 30-35 minutes, until a toothpick or cake tester inserted in the center comes out clean.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool for about 10 minutes, remove from the pan and cool completely.
