Butter 200 gms ( room temp)
Sugar fine or powder 1 cup
Vanilla essence 1 tsp
Self raising flour 2 cup
Beat butter & sugar until you get a white fluffy mixture , then add vanilla essence , mix well , add all egg, beat well, then add the SR flour & mix well, finally add the pistachios and mix.
Put this into a well greased pan & bake this for 50-60 mts in a 180 degree C preheated oven. Reduce the temp to 170 degree C after 10 mts of baking. ( first 10 mts 180 degree & another 45 -50mts 170 degree)
Once it’s done, take out from the oven , allow to cool , then slice this cake into the desired shape and put it into the cookie sheet and again bake for another 15-20 mts or you get nice crispy biscuits. For Second baking no need for preheating the oven. Keep it in an air tight container and enjoy with your tea.
